Who we are

Pencil Street is a progressive, yet eminently practical group of dedicated teachers.  We formed Pencil Street primarily because we’ve all worked or currently work on the front line of teaching.  That means we’ve risen to the challenges and demands of curriculum changes, budget cuts, the shifting expectations of parents and the evolving nature of the world that our children will ultimately face when they leave the formal education process.

Unlike many other providers of teaching resources for the Early Years, Key Stage 1 & 2, we’ve designed our high quality teaching resources* to empower you and facilitate the learning process within the classroom environment.  

Although our extensive range of premier teaching resources cover a wide range of subjects, they all share one thing in common - children respond positively to them.  Using real life images, as well as engaging cartoon characters for some Early Years resources, every Worksheet, Activity Plan and Classroom Wall Display is designed to follow and expand on the curriculum.
